sitting with Marina….
i went to the museum to sit with Marina and was fortunate to be able to sit, it was a kind of spontaneous decision to go do that!… what was a bit strange is that i was told (we all were that day!) that marina’s back was hurting so we should limit our sittings to as short as possible…. WTF?! you know, when i get into the ‘zone’ i have NO PERCEPTION OF TIME OR/AND SPACE… actually, i never do (even if NOT in the ‘zone’ ;)… i’m serious!).
i really felt that time and space disappeared when i sat down and got the eyes-to-eyes locked connection…. all i can say is that i can’t describe my experience… i can only ‘try’ and, therefore, not really do it. it was/is! BEYOND WORDS! beyond time and space and anything…. you know, BEING REALLY PRESENT! i AM still t/here, sitting with her, sharing this amazing intimacy, connected NOW… in some parallel universe. you can’t stop experiencing Marina…
she’s pure LOVE and it comprises everything: all dimensions of love… and it’s LIVE, AUTHENTIC, REAL… and most importantly: INTENSE! when you step into this ‘unique’ time-space zone of presence with Marina Abramovic, you know there’s no way back…. or forward! there’s just, right here, right now. It’s eternity!
one more thing: i thought i was sitting with her for 5-10 minutes, and it was 38 minutes!!! 38 minutes of bliss!
